Housekeeper 1

Job Duties Under general supervision the custodial duties include, but are not limited to: regular cleaning of facilities for the purpose of maintain a sanitary, safe, andattractive environment; moves janitorial equipment, furniture and other building items as necessary; performs cleaning duties such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, etc. at heights of up to 12 feet using a ladder; arranges school furnishings and equipment in order to provide adequate preparation for meetings, classroom activities, and special events; maintain and restock janitorial supplies as needed; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Applicants will be required to obtain an American Sign Language Proficiency Instrument (ASLPI) rating of 2 or above within three years from date of hire. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent or 1 year of experience in housekeeping Strong Communication skills.
