Job Details: Schedule: 4 Days | 10-hour shifts, All techs must stay until all cases are completed for the day. Location: San Marcos, TX 78666 Job Type: Travel Contract Float Requirement: Yes – must float to New facility as needed Contract: 12 weeks with possible extension Travel Gross Pay Range: $1200-$1400/Week for 40 hours (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.) Duties: Support physicians and registered nurses during GI and endoscopy procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Prepare, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain endoscopic equipment, scopes, and procedure rooms before and after procedures. Perform endoscope reprocessing and sterilization in compliance with ANSI/AAMI standards and infection control guidelines. Assist with specimen collection, patient monitoring setup, and therapeutic endoscopic interventions during procedures. Maintain inventory, stock procedure rooms, and participate in training, safety compliance, and departmental quality initiatives Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent – Required. Minimum 1 year of experience in endoscopy, GI, or related procedural setting – Preferred. Previous Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit experience – Preferred. BLS Certification through AHA – Required. SGNA Certification – Required. Knowledge of endoscope processing, sterilization, infection prevention, and high-level disinfection standards. Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment and adapt to changing patient care needs.
