Position Overview As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in purchasing and negotiating services, materials, and supplies. Your responsibilities will include: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers. Researching and vetting potential new vendors. Analyzing market trends to secure the best pricing and terms. Ensuring the accuracy of special order items based on engineering drawings. Monitoring critical path items and making adjustments to meet deadlines. Verifying that incoming products meet company standards. Ensuring stock data accuracy and hands‑on inventory management, including floor time. This role will expand in scope and responsibility as the company continues to grow. Qualifications Required: Strong negotiation, decision‑making, and organizational skills. Hands‑on experience with purchasing processes and related responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Preferred: Familiarity with Pareto Charts for data‑driven decision‑making. Six Sigma Black Belt Certification for process improvement.
