Number of Beds: 14 ICU, 20 Med/Surg

Patient Ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:5 in Med/Surg

Unit staffing description- 1 PCA, 1 UC

Type of equipment: standard

Documentation system: Meditech

Scheduling requirements: every other weekend

Requested Skill Set:

Must have ACLS

Must have BLS

At least 2+ years of Experience

NIH REQUIRED

Vasopressors Preferred

Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:

Meditech Experience Preferred

Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:

Active TX RN License

Procedures performed on unit: Critical Care

Dress Code:

Scrub Color: RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket

Nail Policy Clean and Healthy

Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed

Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually

Piercings Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
