Job Description

Passionate about supporting students and making a difference in their educational journey? A contract paraprofessional position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning in August 2026 and extending through June 2027. This full-time opportunity near Bristol, NH, offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule of 32-37.5 hours per week and focuses on working with a high school caseload. If you’re eager to foster student growth within a collaborative school environment, this could be an excellent fit for your skills and dedication.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Experience in a paraprofessional or classroom support role, ideally in a school setting
Ability to connect and communicate effectively with high school students
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required
A passion for helping students achieve academic and personal success
Reliability and commitment for the full academic term

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in classroom management and lesson support
Work one-on-one or with small groups of students to reinforce learning
Help implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
Encourage positive student behaviors and provide mentorship
Document student progress and relay updates to instructional staff
Promote a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
