Cleveland County Jail | Shelby, NC Part Time | Every Other Sunday | 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM PRN Opportunities Available for Additional Hours
Looking for a part-time nursing opportunity with a dependable schedule and the flexibility to pick up additional hours? Southern Health Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-focused care at the Cleveland County Jail in North Carolina.
This position offers a consistent shift every other Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. If you are interested in additional hours, PRN opportunities may also be available based on facility needs and your availability.
Correctional healthcare is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference. You'll provide essential nursing care in a structured environment while working alongside a dedicated healthcare team that values professionalism, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Current CPR certification
- At least one year of experience as an LPN preferred
- Correctional healthcare experience is not required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team
- Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and facility credentialing requirements
