SAP Retrofit Management Specialist (Remote)

We are looking for an SAP Retrofit Management Specialist for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will manage SAP retrofit activities across multi-track landscapes, ensuring transport changes are synchronized correctly, conflicts and dependencies are resolved, and releases move smoothly through testing and production.

This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40-hour-per-week role (4-day, 10-hour shifts per week), Remote role in the US.

This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced ERP SAP Retrofit Management Specialist to lead and execute the synchronization of transport changes across our complex, multi-track SAP landscape.
• In this role, you will be responsible for managing across multiple maintenance environments, ensuring that development changes in project tracks are systematically retrofit back into the main operations track without disrupting ongoing business functions or upcoming releases.

Requirements :

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• 6+ years of experience SAP Retrofit Management Specialist.
• Retrofit Governance & Execution : Manage the retrofit lifecycle across multi-track environments (e.g., N, N+1, N+2, etc landscapes), ensuring timely and error-free transport synchronization using SAP SolMan (ChaRM) or Focused Build
• Conflict Resolution : Identify, analyze, and resolve technical and functional transport conflicts, dependencies, and object overlaps between maintenance and project tracks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with SAP Functional Leads, Developers, Release Managers, and other Teams to evaluate business impact and validate manual vs. automated retrofit procedures.
• Quality Assurance & Testing : Oversee post-retrofit object validation, unit testing, and integration testing to prevent regression issues in target environments.
• Process Optimization : Define, document, and refine retrofit guidelines, dual-maintenance protocols, and transport cutover strategies to drive continuous improvement in release management operations.
• Technical Depth: Must be able demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP transport management system, ABAP object structures, transport dependencies, and system architecture across SAP landscapes.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong capability to perform complex object comparison, code reviews, and manual merging for customized ABAP developments, configuration (SPRO), and database adjustments.
• Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of bridging technical details and business priorities across multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Compensation: $90.00/hr - $100/hr
