Job Summary

The Central Production Facility Manager is responsible for the overall operation and success of Broulim’s Central Production Facility. This position leads the production team and oversees daily production, food safety, product quality and consistency, inventory management, purchasing, labor efficiency, and distribution to Broulim’s locations.

Examples of Duties

• Lead, train, coach, and develop Central Production team members.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and daily workflow.
• Oversee daily production to ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and consistently.
• Maintain product recipes, specifications, quality, freshness, packaging, and presentation standards.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, supplies, and vendor communication.
• Monitor and control shrink, waste, and production losses.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, temperature, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Coordinate production and deliveries to ensure store orders are accurate, complete, and on time.
• Communicate with store teams and company leadership regarding production needs, concerns, and opportunities.
• Use store feedback to improve products, processes, and service.
• Develop and improve production processes to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Prepare for and participate in inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for safety, quality, productivity, and performance.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous management experience, preferably in food production, deli, food service, or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Ability to effectively manage staffing, scheduling, production, inventory, and daily operational priorities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards for food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and operational consistency.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
