Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnostic outcomes. \n
- Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their personal goals and preferences, using evidence-based practices as the foundation for therapy. \n
- Deliver specialized therapeutic interventions, including techniques rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), designed to equip clients with coping mechanisms and strategies to manage their conditions effectively. \n
- Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and treatment options, empowering them with knowledge to facilitate their recovery journeys. \n
- Track and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure efficacy and responsiveness to their evolving needs. \n
- Engage in regular collaboration with medical professionals, including psychiatrists, to ensure an integrated care approach is maintained throughout the treatment process. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in case consultations and professional development, remaining actively informed about new research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders. \n
- Advocate for clients, striving to enhance understanding and reduce the stigma around mental health issues. \n
The primary focus of your work will involve individuals facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a diverse clientele representing different backgrounds and demographic groups, providing tailored support that respects and acknowledges their individual experiences and cultural contexts.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current and valid licensure as either an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is essential for this role. \n
- In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment methodologies for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT, is necessary. \n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a diverse client base and establish strong therapeutic alliances. \n
- A strong understanding of psychopharmacology will enhance your ability to collaborate with psychiatrists and streamline patient care. \n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
