- Independently manage workers' compensation defense cases from initial investigation through resolution.
- Represent employers and insurers in hearings, depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings.
- Develop litigation strategies, analyze medical evidence, and negotiate favorable settlements.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, case evaluations, and other legal documents.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal guidance.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues on complex cases while developing your own practice.
- Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
- 2+ years of workers' compensation litigation experience.
- Experience managing litigation matters, including hearings, depositions, and case preparation.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Willingness to attend in-person proceedings and meetings as needed.
