Responsibilities Record and maintain precise general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Analyze financial statements to identify and resolve discrepancies. Record, categorize, and reconcile company expenses and credit card transactions. Prepare detailed expense reports and variance analyses. Assist with vendor invoice processing and optimize vendor relationships. Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and overall efficiency. Serve as a mentor to colleagues on accounting practices. Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to standards. Support internal and external audits with comprehensive documentation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 4–5 years of experience in general accounting; experience in fast-paced environments preferred. CPA or progress toward CPA is preferred. In-depth understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software as a plus. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and team collaboration abilities. Highly reliable and able to excel in a fast-paced, in-office setting. An interest in aviation is advantageous.
