Details Pediatric Emergency Department unit with 15 beds Staffed with 1 Respiratory Therapist per shift covering the Pediatric ED Uses Meditech EMR Uses standard respiratory therapy equipment Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM No on-call requirement Floating to other pediatric areas required Requirements Active RRT license required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS certification required PALS certification required NRP certification required for staff caring for neonates Minimum 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the specialty Pediatric and critical care experience requiredNo employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Department Perform bronchiolitis scoring, respiratory arrest response, noninvasive and invasive ventilation Work as part of a small, specialized pediatric respiratory therapy team Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID #P-751813.
