WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Exemplify Muckleshoot Casino Resort’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Transmit, receive, and relay information concerning Security Department activities, incidents, and responses to, from, and between multi-channel radios to appropriate personnel.
• Responsible for entering data into the computer system, including Incident Reports and Daily Recaps.
• Document and tally daily service requests, answer multi-line telephone, accurately record messages, and ensure that appropriate staff receive messages.
• Maintain accurate Dispatch Logs of all activities and involvement of Security Personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs for monitoring keys and visitor badges in compliance with published Internal Controls.
• Monitor access areas to ensure that only authorized personnel are entering and leaving the property.
• Monitor and reports to appropriate authorities, incidents including but not limited to, theft, altercations, vandalism, fire, accidents, suspicious activities, safety, and other security related situations.
• Provide any assistance needed to customers, employees, and visitors within the department's procedures.
• Initiate requests for and coordinates emergency services, including but not limited to police, medical, and fire agencies.
• Investigate and write reports on accidents, incidents, and other activities during shift.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information regarding employees, guests, and situations.
• Greet team members, vendors, and guests in-person and by answering the telephone.
• Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• One (1) year of experience as a dispatcher or as an operator using multiple communication systems.

• Hold and maintain a valid WA State driver’s License.

• Previous experience in security, military or civilian police officer training preferred; related on the job experience may be considered in lieu of formal training.
