Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Unarmed Foot Patrol in Chino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report discrepancies, damaged property, or operational concerns.
- Support order and continuity of operations by observing trailer yards, dock doors, and high-traffic areas, assisting with incident response, and communicating professionally with site leadership and local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
