The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of child development, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to enhancing the academic, social, and emotional well‑being of our students. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning needs. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional concerns among students. Serve as a valuable resource for teachers and staff regarding student behavior, mental health, and effective learning strategies. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop tailored interventions. Stay updated on current best practices in school psychology and engage in ongoing professional development activities as required. Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement. Previous experience in a full-time school psychologist role is preferred. Proficiency in utilizing psychological assessment tools and methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
