Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Superintendent

We are currently looking for an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Superintendent to join our team. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all electrical, instrumentation, and controls activities on site. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of electricians, instrument technicians, and controls specialists. Ensure work complies with project specifications, industry standards, codes, and safety regulations. Oversee installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of electrical and control systems. Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and management to resolve technical and operational challenges. Plan and manage schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors to meet project milestones. Conduct regular safety inspections, enforce compliance, and foster a strong safety culture on site. Prepare progress reports, documentation, and status updates for management. Work Details Location: On-site in Idaho Schedule: 3 weeks on / 1 week off Flights and accommodations provided Contract duration: 12 months, with potential extension based on project requirements Qualifications Journeyperson or Master Electrician license preferred; strong background in instrumentation and controls. Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and controls on industrial or heavy construction projects. Proven experience in a superintendent or leadership role, managing crews on-site. Extensive knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and industrial control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and instrumentation drawings. Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code), NFPA standards, and OSHA safety regulations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; able to coordinate multiple trades. Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting project schedules. Experience in oil & gas, power generation, chemical, or manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with US-based electrical and safety codes.
