Human Resources Coordinator

Insight is hiring for an onsite Human Resources Coordinator role in Coldwater, MI (supporting other locations virtually). This position helps keep HR operations running smoothly, supports new hires from start to finish, and serves as a go-to resource for everyday HR questions. You will also play a visible role in employee engagement and recognition through Circle of Excellence . Compensation: USD 18–20 per hour. Responsibilities Provide first-level support for HR inquiries covering policies, benefits, and payroll, and route more complex questions to senior HR personnel Work with the hiring manager and candidates to ensure pre-employment steps and documentation are completed correctly and on time Assign and track required and optional training in the Learning Management System (LMS) Process garnishments, unemployment claims, and other government agency documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission Manage pre-employment requirements such as background checks and screenings Handle employment verifications and other official documentation requests Monitor and respond to daily help desk tickets Conduct new hire orientation , including company policies, benefits, and standard procedures Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in the HRIS , including daily updates, job changes, and status transactions Assist with planning and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to support morale and workplace culture Oversee Circle of Excellence , the employee recognition program Demonstrate a willingness to gradually take on new and more complex tasks, supporting professional growth within the role Follow company policies and departmental procedures to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient workflows Complete other related duties as needed and ensure all requests are handled timely and accurately Requirements Previous HR experience is preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field experience is preferred Demonstrate eligibility to work for any employer in the U.S. Experience in a Hospital and/or Healthcare environment is preferred, not required Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft 360 Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information Ability to work autonomously and show initiative in a team environment Friendly, empathetic, and committed to superior customer service Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude Committed to contributing to a positive environment, including during rapidly changing circumstances Awareness of standards and consistent performance in accordance with them Technologies Learning Management System (LMS) , HRIS , Google Suite , Microsoft 360 Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and sick leave 401K with Matching; offerings vested fully at 3 months of employment with eligibility to contribute Short & Long Disability, and Life Term insurance, complementary of Full Time Employment Additional supplementary coverages offered based on employee elections: Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, AD&D, etc. Benefits for full time team members include the same health coverage, paid time off, 401K matching with vesting at 3 months, Short & Long Disability and Life Term insurance, and additional supplementary coverages based on elections. #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight
