Role Qualifications:

• Current Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) or equivalent certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• A minimum of 1 year of surgical first-assist experience is required.
• Strong understanding of surgical techniques and sterile practices.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and collaborative under pressure.

Responsibilities

As a CSFA, you will provide critical intraoperative support to surgeons and the surgical team. Your responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, facilitating exposure of the surgical area, controlling bleeding, and suturing incisions when necessary. You will also ensure proper patient positioning, assist in pre-and post-operative care, and contribute to a collaborative and efficient operating room environment while prioritizing patient safety and quality outcomes.
