Physician (MD) – Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens assignment with urgent dates needed: June 4th 7am to June 11th 7PM, June 15th 7am to June 22nd 7am, and June 29th 7am to July 9th 7PM
• Looking for 1 or 2 providers to work 3 to 4 days per week in clinic
• Clinic hours are 7:30am to 4:30pm with patients beginning at 8:00am
• Up to 20 patient encounters per shift in a 16-bed department
• Must provide comprehensive OB and GYN services including prenatal care
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform OB ultrasounds including performance and interpretation
• Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forceps
• Decision-making for cesarean sections required
• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Perform repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Perform operative/major gynecological procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• ABLS certification required
• Active Nevada license or IMLC required to be considered
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 45 days
• Nearest airport is Elko Regional Airport; SLC International Airport is approximately 3.5 hours away
• Lodging recommendations include TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Home2 Suites by Hilton
• Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements including a completed background check and drug screen
