Be a true subject‑matter expert in all product categories and cascade this knowledge to team members. Show ownership and set the example for Sales Leaders by acting as a brand ambassador, demonstrating passion for people and customers. Handle customer complaints with determination and partner with Customer Service and QA according to SOPs. Ensure all employees adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines. Leading People Conduct on‑the‑job training for all new joiners, including onboarding, product knowledge, and goal tools. Collaborate with the SSL to schedule a 2‑week shadowing and training period for new hires. Lead continuous training programs and promote full participation in efficient learning methods such as Chew on This, Wild Chef, and product training. Attend marketing and new product training calls, ensuring employees receive detailed information. Evaluate employee performance with the SSL and identify training needs. Motivate and supervise Sales Leaders with humility. Operational Excellence Assist the SSL in planning and implementing local marketing strategies to attract customers. Coordinate daily customer service operations, including sales, orders, and inventory. Track store performance, KPIs, and objectives, driving sales results. Support the SSL in their absence, monitoring sales, inventory, money handling, pricing, and campaigns. Maintain inventory, monitor stock levels, and communicate with the team and customers. Execute other related duties as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds. Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures (walk‑in freezers). Stand or walk for up to 8–10 hours. Frequent movement within the store to access departments and products. Ability to multi‑task while remaining attentive and flexible to business needs. Availability to work a flexible schedule—including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work with integrity as part of a team toward a shared vision. Initiative and collaboration with the SSL on implementing new ideas. Systems capabilities preferred: SAP, Order Management Systems, Microsoft Office. High school degree or GED preferred. Previous retail supervisory experience preferred.
