Facilities Technician

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Facilities Technician.

Position Type: Full time, Possible Contract to Hire
Duration: 12months
Location: Rockwall, TX 75032
As a Facilities Technician you will be:

• Performs basic maintenance activities such as, but not limited to changing light bulbs, plumbing repairs, electrical device installations, temperature adjustments, wall/door repairs, and service requests.
• Performs preventive maintenance and monthly safety inspections of assigned buildings, promptly reporting any maintenance issues to Facilities Manager.
• Supports conference room set-ups and teardowns.
• Supports Facilities moves, furniture installations, and reconfigurations.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as directed by the Facilities Manager.
• Performs detailed and accurate record keeping.
• Handle materials, including operating a forklift, box truck/van, and lifts such as scissor lift and/or boom lift.
• Promotes effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for co-workers.
• Supports the overall goal of maintaining a neat, clean, and comfortable work environment.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Follows Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Preferred Skills:

• Demonstrated customer service skills and team player
• Physical requirements include climbing ladders, extended seating or standing, or other physical efforts.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic mechanical or "handyman" aptitude.
• Will need to work outside, inside, walking building and grounds.
• Exposure to exterior elements to include cold, wind, and heat.
• Initiative and self-motivated.
• Proficiency in Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LO/TO) procedures.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $24 to $25/per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
