- Starting Pay $19 - $20/per hour
Set up and operate power saws to cut metallic and non-metallic materials at our Houghton Lake facility. You'll read blueprints, verify measurements, operate a forklift, and help keep the shop running smoothly. What you'll do
- Operate power saws; adjust speed, feed rate, and blade tension
- Read blueprints and verify finished dimensions with measuring tools
- Operate forklift; load, unload, and handle materials
- Measure, cut, and install rubber boards in aluminum beds
- Keep saw and storage areas clean and organized
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Pre-employment drug screening required, including marijuana
- Experience reading blueprints, templates, and measuring devices
- Certified or able to become certified on forklift operation
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on/under heavy-duty trucks
- Facial hair must comply with CDC/NIOSH guidelines for filtering facepiece respirators
