Executive Director, Head of Clinical Design & Delivery Center

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Executive Director to lead the Clinical Design and Delivery Center, overseeing protocol review, clinical development training programs, and process innovation across the organization. The role combines strategic leadership of the Protocol Management Office with responsibility for advancing clinical capabilities and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Protocol Management Office overseeing review of clinical protocols, statistical analysis plans, and study documents across therapeutic areas
• Provide scientific review and guidance to ensure high-quality, feasible, and compliant clinical studies
• Develop and deliver educational initiatives to strengthen clinical development expertise across the organization
• Oversee process improvement initiatives focused on protocol development, study design optimization, and clinical development efficiency
• Represent Bristol Myers Squibb in industry forums and conferences as thought leader in clinical development excellence

Requirements

• Extensive experience in clinical development and protocol management within pharmaceutical industry
• Demonstrated strategic leadership of complex, cross-functional teams and oversight functions
• Deep expertise in clinical protocol design, statistical analysis plans, and regulatory compliance standards
• Strong scientific and analytical background with ability to conduct rigorous protocol review
• Experience developing and implementing training programs for scientific and clinical audiences
• Knowledge of quality systems, risk management, and process governance in drug development
