What We Expect From You:

In this role, you will take on central responsibility for the stability, quality, and further development of our financial reporting. You will ensure that our reporting processes function reliably and at the same time, you will develop them strategically. In doing so, you will combine operational reporting with a deep understanding of data and processes.

You will work closely with finance and data & analytics and actively contribute to making reporting and planning structures more sustainable, transparent, and efficient. Your contribution will lay the foundation for sound financial decisions in the company.

A particular focus is on reducing manual efforts and further developing data-driven solutions: You will identify optimization potential, drive automations forward, and strengthen the quality and availability of our financial data.

Your Tasks At A Glance:

• Support Monthly Closing & Reporting: You will support the creation of the Monthly Financial Report (MFR), extract relevant key figures from systems such as Tagetik, and provide data for reporting and presentations. You will ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability.

• Develop Operational Reporting: You will maintain and optimize existing Excel reporting structures, manage reporting-relevant data stocks, and ensure stable, on-time reporting processes with clean documentation.

• Provide Ad-Hoc Analyses & Business Support: You will process reporting requests, create sound analyses and decision templates, and support the interpretation of financial key figures and deviations.

• Drive Automation: You will identify manual and error-prone processes and develop pragmatic automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce manual intermediate steps.

• Collaborate With Data & Analytics: You will use data platforms such as Databricks, work closely with analytics teams, and translate technical requirements into data-driven solutions and KPI structures.

What You Should Ideally Bring With You:

• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, or FP&A as well as in the monthly closing environment

• Technical Expertise: Confident understanding of financial key figures, reporting logics, and closing contexts

• Systems & Data: Very good Excel skills (including complex models and Power Query) as well as solid experience with reporting or consolidation systems (e.g., Tagetik, SAC); furthermore, knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI), SQL or data models, and initial experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks) or process automation are advantageous

• Data Competence: Experience in the preparation, validation, and analysis of financial key figures as well as in the work with forecast and planning structures

• Languages: Good German and English skills
