Room Attendant / Housekeeper – Hyatt Location: Anchorage, AK Position Overview: At The Wildbirch Hotel, the Room Attendant / Housekeeper supports the entire housekeeping team, maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a comfortable stay for all guests. Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Entry level Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industry: Hospitality Important Note: A valid work authorization for the USA is required. The position is located at a hotel where Hyatt is not the employer; the employer may be a third‑party management company responsible for all employment benefits and obligations. Key Responsibilities Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures. Vacuuming and sweeping floors. Cleaning windows and mirrors. Emptying trash and recycling bins. Room Maintenance Making beds and changing bed linens. Replacing towels and toiletries. Restocking guest room amenities (e.g., toiletries, beverages, snacks). Ensuring the room is properly set and clean before guests arrive. Customer Service Responding to guest inquiries and requests. Providing information about hotel services and amenities. Maintaining a positive and helpful attitude. Other Duties Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department. Ensuring the safety and security of guest rooms. Following hotel procedures and guidelines. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Physical Skills Ability to lift, carry, and climb. Manual dexterity and ability to use hand and cleaning tools.
