Learn more about this agency Duties Help The IT Program Manager decides on, leads and oversees SI's digital asset services function and provides enterprise leadership for the systems, platforms, services and operational capabilities that support digital assets and collections information. In this position, you will: Lead and oversee the enterprise digital asset services function and directs the strategy, operation, modernization and continuous improvement of platforms, systems and services supporting capture, management, preservation, discovery, access and lifecycle management of digital assets and collections information. Exercise the full range of supervisory and managerial authorities over subordinate supervisors, managers, technical specialists and contractors; plans work, allocates resources, evaluates performance, recommends personnel actions and develops workforce capability. Establish vision, priorities, roadmaps, governance frameworks, standards and operating models for enterprise digital asset services; advises senior leadership; coordinates institution-wide planning. Direct technology investments, contracts, budgets, vendor relationships and service portfolios; prioritizes modernization and operational investments; ensures stewardship of financial, contractual, technological and human resources; leads acquisition planning and vendor management. Qualifications GS-15 Experience: You qualify for this position if you have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Service. For this position, specialized experience is defined as: Leading enterprise digital asset or collections information technology programs and services; Directing modernization and lifecycle management of enterprise platforms; Supervising technical staff and/or subordinate supervisors; Developing governance, roadmaps, or service strategies and coordinating decisions among diverse stakeholders; Managing technology investments, budgets, contracts, vendors, or other resources. In addition to meeting the Specialized Experience for all positions individuals must have related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below: Attention to Detail : Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Handles technical, sensitive, or controversial topics with agility involving executives/managers as appropriate. Problem Solving : Identifies and analyzes problems, weighs relevance and accuracy of information, generates and evaluates alternative solutions, and makes sound recommendations. Education There is no substitution for education at the GS-15 grade level. Additional information This position is not included in the bargaining unit.
