Brand Marketing Specialist

Pay Range $62,375.00 - $79,404.95 Job Overview The Brand Marketing Specialist works with teams to build deeper connections with consumers and communities through brand campaign excellence. This role focuses on developing and executing highly engaged advertising, marketing, and design projects, leveraging integrated brand marketing and advertising strategies to grow brand awareness and adoption of NBT Bank’s products and services.The Specialist is a self‑starter, works independently, and keeps pace with evolving consumer trends, managing multiple marketing and design projects while building strong relationships with business partners and the marketing team. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (or equivalent work experience). Five (5) years of marketing experience required, including at least 3 years in campaign development and management; digital marketing experience is strongly preferred. Skills & Abilities Translate marketing objectives and strategies into engaging creative and campaign ideas across multiple touchpoints. Develop strategies, tactics, timelines, budgets, and KPIs to support marketing requests and team objectives. Write, edit, produce content, and provide creative guidance in design/layout for campaigns and projects. Apply awareness, engagement, and conversion marketing principles, including compliance requirements related to NBT Bank and its affiliates. Deliver strong written and verbal communication, presenting marketing support plans to stakeholders. Ensure consistent use of NBT Bank’s brand image across the bank and affiliate companies. Collaborate with the digital team to create website content and high‑performance campaign conversion pages. Act as point of contact for business partners and third‑party vendors, maintaining communication and on‑time, on‑budget project delivery. Manage relationships with external resources, vendors, and third‑party groups to improve partnering and outsourcing. Perform additional duties as assigned. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, social media, and email. Tasks Performed 50% Campaign, project and content development: creative development of engaging advertising, marketing, and design campaigns; integrated brand marketing and advertising strategies; content for traditional, digital, and social platforms. 45% Campaign and project management: marketing project and campaign management and execution; lead teams to ensure integrated campaigns, projects, and calendars stay on time, budget, and target. 5% Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers; stationary 75% of the time or more; move objects up to 10lb.
