Associate Dentist

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable PPO dental practice or our Pediatric Practice in Modesto. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes while maintaining a compassionate and professional environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient base, utilizing advanced dental technologies and techniques to deliver exceptional oral health services. Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and dentures. Preferably has experience with implants or willing to take courses. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging and medical documentation tools to accurately record patient information. Administer oral surgery procedures such as dental extractions and root canal therapy. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Engage in pediatric dentistry practices, providing care tailored for pediatric patients. Collaborate with dental team members in four-handed dentistry for efficient treatment delivery. Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Use dental fabrication techniques for crowns, bridges, and other prosthodontic devices as needed. Stay current with advancements in endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to enhance patient care. Skills Experience in oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics is highly desirable. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, crowns and other complex procedures with precision. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on patient assessment and education. Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization procedures. Ability to work effectively within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical documentation standard.
