Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment. Deliver compassionate, efficient treatment while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions promptly upon arrival to determine priority and treatment needs.
• Administer medications, IV insertion, and perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures.
• Monitor patient status during conscious sedation and respond to changes accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active New York State RN License.
• Possess a minimum of two years of emergency room experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Certified in AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
• Additional certification in TNCC preferred for specific facilities.
