Mental Health Therapist
HealthCare Recruiters International (HCRI) is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join a mission-driven nonprofit outpatient mental health clinic in southeastern New Mexico. The clinic serves clients of all ages, including those navigating substance use, suicidal ideation, trauma, family conflict, and other behavioral health concerns.
This is a full-time, permanent role at a community-based clinic with strong team collaboration.
- Fully licensed clinicians (LPCC, LCSW, LISW, LMFT, LCP) may work hybrid 3-days per week on-site
- Pre-licensed clinicians (LMHC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC) must work on-site and will receive paid supervision
Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities
- Flexible FT scheduling options: 7AM-7PM and Saturdays
- Provide individual and group therapy for children, adolescents, and adults
- Support clients with trauma, addictions, suicidal ideation, self-esteem, parenting, and emotional health
- Guide clients in developing healthy coping strategies and relational insight
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain treatment records
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and clinical reviews
- Coordinate care and respond to crisis needs as appropriate
Mental Health Therapist Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field (required)
- Active New Mexico behavioral health license (or license-eligible): Pre-licensed: LMHC, LMSW, LAMFT, LPC Fully licensed: LPCC, LCSW, LISW, LMFT, LCP
- Must pass CYFD and criminal background checks
- Valid NM driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required

Compensation and Benefits
- $70,000–$108,000 salary range depending on license and experience
- Up to 15% annual bonus
- $5,000 relocation bonus
