Ultrasound Technologist at Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR

Full-Time/Variable Shift - Sunday from 8am-6:30pm and Monday-Wednesday from 9:30am-8pm.

$6000 Sign-on Bonus for external eligible candidates who meet all conditions for payment – this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment.

Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• Upon hire: New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years Clinical experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for 612-71875, 612-71877, 612-71878, 612-71882, 612-71883, 612-71884.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
