Material HandlerCardinal Staffing Services is hiring for a Material Handler in Lima, OH. As a Material Handler for Cardinal Staffing Services, you will support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by safely moving materials, maintaining inventory flow, and ensuring finished products are properly packaged and prepared for shipment. This role is ideal for someone with forklift experience who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation of $19.00 per hour + $1.00/hour night shift premium, as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available Shift: Night Shift 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM 2-2-3 rotating scheduleDuties and Responsibilities:Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished productsSupply production with packaging materials and maintain production flowLabel, ticket, and document finished products accuratelyRemove full totes and pallets from production and place them in the warehousePull inventory, prepare shipping paperwork, and load trailersLoad raw materials into production as neededFollow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practicesPerform daily forklift inspections and complete required documentationDispose of scrap and recycling materials using designated equipmentAssist with sorting, rework, and other production support tasksMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety, quality, GMP, and food safety proceduresRequirements and Qualifications:Previous forklift experience requiredWarehouse or material handling experience preferredAbility to read, write, and communicate in EnglishBasic math and computer/documentation skillsExperience completing shipping paperwork or Bills of Lading is a plusAbility to lift and move up to 75 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical work throughout a 12-hour shiftStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAt Cardinal Staffing, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
