Available Shifts: Daytime Caregiver: 8:00am – 8:00pm. Shift lengths range from 4 to 12 hours depending on client needs. Candidates must be available and willing to work 4-hour shifts . Longer shifts, up to 12 hours, are offered when available but are not guaranteed.
Part-time position. Because client needs vary, shift lengths and schedules vary too.
Job Overview
HomeWell is seeking caring, dependable, and service-oriented home care aides who are passionate about helping others live safely and comfortably at home. In this role, you’ll provide non-medical personal care and companionship that supports each client’s dignity, independence, and quality of life. We value team members who lead with kindness, communicate professionally, and take pride in making a meaningful difference.

Responsibilities
Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Provide medication reminders
Prepare meals and support mobility/transfers
Offer companionship and emotional support
Support daily activities and behaviors as needed
Perform light housekeeping for a safe home
Skills
Experience with bedbound care and transfers preferred
Knowledge of dementia and developmental disability care preferred
Ability to manage behaviors with patience and empathy
Meal prep and dietary awareness
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements
Availability and willingness to work 4-hour shifts (required)
Caregiving Experience 1-3 years preferred
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
Location Requirement:
Must currently reside in or be able to reliably commute in the St. Louis, MO area. If not already local, relocation prior to start date is required.
Work Location: In person
Please apply only if you are available and willing to work 4-hour shifts. Many of our caregivers also pick up longer shifts, up to 12 hours, as client needs arise.
