If you have the required skills and clearance, we encourage you to apply and join our team of dedicated professionals.Location: Fort Meade, MDRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.Alternatively, four (4) years of additional software engineering (SWE) experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.Proficiency in understanding and modifying DSP implementations created in C/C++.Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.Nice to HavesExperience with precision synchronous digital sampling and timestamping.Familiarity with high-order angle and amplitude modulation, multiplexed signals, and spread spectrum technology.Background in high-speed digital signal processing systems development for military, aerospace, or intelligence applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development: Lead the design and development of advanced DSP algorithms and their implementation in C++.Optimize the performance and efficiency of these algorithms for real-time processing.System Integration: Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of DSP software with hardware components.Validate and test the complete system to ensure robust performance.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Review code, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the DSP software, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.Regularly report on project progress and technical challenges to stakeholders.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system architects, project managers, and other software engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and project timelines.Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in DSP technologies and methodologies.Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve existing systems and processes.Target Salaries for Software EngineersLevel-1: $233,000Level-2: $275,000Level-3: $300,000Level Experience Requirements: Level 1 7+ years Level 2 14+ years Level 3 20+ years
