Equipment Controller/Cleaner

Equipment Controller/Cleaner is responsible for cleaning all tanks and equipment in the factory. This role is also responsible for the upkeep and scheduling of cleaning equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Cleans all tanks and equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Cleans factory floors.
• Works with manufacturing technicians to ensure they have equipment to meet production and schedule requirements.
• Maintains cleaning records for all equipment.
• Labels finished product as needed.
• Maintains clean work areas and ensures that production equipment is clean.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment as needed.
• Adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for safety compliance.

Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in manufacturing setting preferred.
• Mechanical skills, with the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Building maintenance and repair experience a plus.
• Work in a results-oriented, challenging environment as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Possesses a strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
• This position requires a regular presence on the floor.
