GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED SCHOOL OF NURSING.
LICENSED BY SOUTH CAROLINA BOARD OF NURSING BY EXAMINATION OR RECIPROCITY.RESPONSIBILITIES
FIRST SHIFT 6:30A-3P SECOND SHIFT 2:30P-11P THIRD SHIFT 10:30P-7AMAKE DAILY ASSIGNMENT IF IN CHARGE OF THE SHIFT.
MAKE ROUNDS WITH OUT GOING NURSE, RECEIVE REPORT ON RESIDENTS CONDTION AS YOU DO YOUR WALKING ROUNDS FROM ROOM TO ROOM.ADMINISTER MEDICATIONS AS SCHEDULED ON YOUR SHIFT.
DO SCHEDULED TREATMENTS.
DAILY AND PRN DOCUMENTATION SHOULD BE DONE.
DO INCIDENT REPORTS AND BEHAVIOR MONITOR LOGS AS THEY OCCUR. NOTIFY MD FOR ANY CHANGES ON RESIDENTS' STATUS OR ANY ABNORMAL LABS. RECIEVES AND TRANSCRIBES PHYSICIAN'S ORDERS. REQUESTS LAB WORKS, SCHEDULE X-RAYS, DR.'S APPOINTMENT, ETC PER DR'S ORDERS. NOTIFY RESPONSIBLE PARTY FOR ANY INCIDENT, CHANGE IN CONDITION, SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS OF RESIDENTS. MAKE TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR RESIDENT AS NEEDED. 7AM-3PM SHIFT, RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING LABS, AND PLACE IN CHART. 3PM-11PM SHIFT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DOCUMENTING WTS. AND REPORT ANY SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO DIETARY, RECEIVE, CHECK AND SIGN DELIVERY FROM PHARMACY. 11PM-7AM SHIFT, RESPONSIBLE FOR CHARTING VITAL SIGNS, CHECK AND HAVE MARS AND TREATMENT BOOKS READY FOR THE NEXT MONTH, AS SOON AS PHARMACY SENT THEM. FAX ORDERS TO PHARMACY ON SAT., TUES, AND THURS. RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING EMERGENCY CARTS AND EXPIRATION DATE ON ALL MULTIDOSE VIALS DAILY. ON SUNDAYS 11P-7A SHIFT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFROSTING AND CLEANING REFRIGERATORS AND MED CARTS. MAKE COPIES OF DAILY WORKSHEET AND MIDNIGHT CENSUS AND DISTRIBUTE TO DESIGNATED OFFICES.HANDLE CALL IN AND FILL IN THE SHEET.
ASSIST IN ADMITTING AND DISCHARGING RESIDENTS.
IF YOU HAVE HAD IV THERAPY, YOU MAY START IV, GIVE IV ANTIBOTICS BUT NOT TO MIX THEM OR DO ANY IV PUSH. MAKE SURE DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS, NOT LIMITED TO BEDTIME SNACKS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO RESIDENTS IN A TIMELY MANNER. PERFORM ALL ASPECTS OF BEDSIDE CARE NECESSARY TO PROVIDE FOR THE COMFORT AND PROMOTE GOOD QUALITY OF LIFE FOR RESIDENTS.ASSIST WITH CALL LIGHTS.
OPEN A GOOD COMMUNICATION WITH DON, ADON, SUPERVISORS, AND MDS CORRDINATOR IN REGARDS TO RESIDENTS' CARE. WORK WELL WITH PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL, AND SPEECH THERAPIES. PERFORM OTHER ROUTINE AND SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AS ASSIGNED OR NECESSARY. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cheraw HealthcareVacancy posted 1 day ago
