Yard AttendantCB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines. Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL. We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support. We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers.Position Summary:We are looking for a hard-working individual that is able to complete all physical tasks while embracing customer satisfaction. A Yard Attendant must be able to effectively communicate any issues or questions to management and peers. CB Mining will be dependent on the Yard Attendant to prepare and ensure quality of equipment for customers. This individual must be open to potential overtime and occasional weekend call-ins.Primary Responsibilities:Fill out accurate shipping and receiving paperwork and photograph incoming and outgoing equipment and documentPrepare equipment to customer specifications before shipping.Maintain a clean and organized yard environment.Able to work productively in an industrial environment that is subject to significant work conditions.Able to operate forklift and rental equipment for loading and unloading of parts and/or equipment.Assist in maintaining all equipment utilized in the CB Mining yard.Assist in coordinating trucking for outgoing equipment.Other duties as assigned.Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:Able to withstand workplace environmental conditions including noise, heat, cold, and atmospheric exposuresMust be able to lift 50 poundsKnowledge of operating heavy equipment, loading and unloading tractor trailers, and transportation of heavy equipment a plus.Effective customer skillsValid Drivers LicenseGraduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.Why Join the CB Mining Team:Market Leading Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, short- and long-term disability, PPO or HDP (health savings account), PTO, Non-Elective contribution.Great Work Environment: Join our team and become part of a family where you aren't just a number.
