Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical CenterWilliamsburg, VirginiaRegistered Nurse Unit CoordinatorAcute Cardiac/Stroke UnitFull TimeNight ShiftHours: 6:45PM to 7:15AMThe Acute Cardiac/Stroke Unit (3 South) at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center provides specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions, including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post-coronary interventions, post-ablation care, and myocardial infarctions. The unit also manages pre- and post-catheterization patients, as well as those experiencing acute stroke.The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.
