Job Description

This role provides direct clinical patient care with Tenet's in-house contingent Pool, Trusted Resource Associates. Work directly with Tenet on a Travel Contract, Local Contract or PRN. With this in-house assignment you will be part of the contingent workforce pool, yet, a W-2 Tenet employee which offers you preferred contracts and higher contract security compared to working through an outside agency.

Specialty: Telemetry, PCU (Stepdown) Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 Weeks 36 Hours per week Shifts available: AM and PM Employment Type: Local or Travel Contracts Facilities: THOP Memorial Campus, THOP East Campus or THOP Sierra Campus

Telemetry Rates: $56/HR Local | Approx. $2,045 gross weekly for travel contracts PCU (Stepdown) Rates: $58/HR Local | Approx. $2060 gross weekly for travel contracts.

Requirements : - BLS and ACLS required - Must have 2 years of Acute Care experience with a minimum one-year current experience in the specialty you will work in. Benefits

Responsibilities

The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided. Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy. Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster. Responsible for knowing the Hospital's emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.

Qualifications

Education:

Required: Graduated from state approved school of nursing or an accredited school. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

Experience:

Required: 2 years of current experience in their specialty.

Certifications:

Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
