HVAC Lead Installation Technician
Join our team of detail-oriented HVAC lead installation technicians. We're looking for an experienced and professional installation technician to help clients stay comfortable and healthy indoors. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing a variety of HVAC equipment, including indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems.
You're comfortable referencing blueprints and manuals to solve complex problems and working with a team to safely and efficiently complete a variety of installations. If you're ready for a new opportunity at a growing HVAC company, apply today!
Responsibilities
- Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems
- Maintain records of completed projects and parts used
- Inspect all pipes, tubing joints, and connections for leaks
- Communicate with clients on how to properly use and maintain their new equipment
- Attach pipes or tubing from the fuel, water, or refrigerant source to HVAC equipment
Qualifications
- Experience in installing and maintaining HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Proven track record of troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC equipment issues efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to execute installations accurately.
- Strong communication skills to guide clients on equipment usage and maintenance effectively.
- Familiarity with inspecting pipes, tubing joints, and connections to identify and resolve leaks.
- Proficiency in attaching pipes or tubing from fuel, water, or refrigerant sources to HVAC equipment.
- MUST HAVE: 5 years driving experience, clean driving record, and active Drivers License.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
- Candidate must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certificate
- Must be comfortable working in small crawl spaces and attics
