Radiology Medical Imaging Tech – Radiology

Schedule: Varied 10-hour shifts, full-time days and nights, with evening shifts from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 80 hours per two-week pay period

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program (required)
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in relevant modality (required)
• Current Oregon license or a valid temporary Oregon permit prior to taking the ARRT registry (highly preferred)
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Associates or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Three years of previous experience in a hospital setting (highly preferred)
• Will consider new graduates or those with less experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of medical imaging exams for patients of all ages.
• Apply principles, theories, and techniques of the pertinent modality to provide reliable test results.
• Provide daily leadership of patient and department workflow.
• Maintain confidentiality and think independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate the ability to use personal computers and various software programs applicable to the position.
• Exhibit effective interpersonal skills to deal with the public and interdepartmentally.
