About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience Circulating experience Sedation experience Atherectomy experience IVUS experience Thrombectomy experience RCIS certification is a plus Description: Our facility is the area's only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital. We were the area's first Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. We are also an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. The facility includes an all-private room acute care hospital, a mental health facility, and a comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital. We offer major services in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, emergency care, behavioral health, obstetrics, and rehabilitative medicine. The Cath Lab has 4 rooms and a holding area. Patient ratios are 1:1. Staffing includes CV analysts and RNs. Our equipment includes GE imaging. The documentation system is Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR. Scheduling requires 4-10 hour shifts with 6-8 shifts of call per month, including one weekend per month. Floating policy is not required. Patient experience requirements will be determined by the facility. Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, coronary intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure.
