The AV Engineer is responsible for preparing and performing AV Design solutions, participate in an office setting, and occasionally helping the installation team. This is a great opportunity in the Mclean, Virginia area, or relocation to Stuttgart, Germany. This role requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.Responsibilities for the AV Engineer:Creating Drawing Packages and Bill of Materials in CADDesign and testing of complex videoconferencing and integrated audio/visual technologies and A/V based collaboration technologiesDesign of audio/video systems with Crestron, AMX and Extron control systemsConduct customer site surveys and provide sales engineering supportRequired Qualifications for the AV Engineer:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5+ years' OR Master's Degree in EngineeringDeveloping and implementing hardware and software solutions for data center and virtual infrastructure technologiesDemonstrated experience with developing cost estimates and work breakdown structures for the design and implementation of complex projectsDemonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectiveFamiliarity with IT, telecommunications, A/V and electrical equipment including related materials and specificationsExperience with AutoCAD or similar softwareCompensation for the AV Engineer:Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 *depending on experience*Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick leave as required by lawThis job opens for applications on 9/5/2026.
