About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum RN – Tennessee**Start Date:** September 7, 2026 **Location:** Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Full-time, 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays**Highlights:** - Combined LDRP unit with 9 beds, 1 operating suite, and Level II NICU offering diverse clinical experience- 1:1 patient ratios for active labors, inductions, and cesarean sections; couplet care at 1:3 ratio- Work alongside seasoned nursing team with exceptional tenure (several nurses with 20-30+ years of experience)- Utilize Meditech and CPN documentation systems with central fetal monitoring technology- Comprehensive case mix including labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn transitional care- Joint Commission accredited facility with Stroke Center, Level II Trauma, and Level II NICU designations**Requirements:** - Active RN license in good standing- Labor and delivery experience including maternal recovery and newborn assessment and transition- BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Fetal Monitoring training certifications required- Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and other OB emergencies preferred- Competency with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil), fetal monitoring, and high-risk labor management- Ability to perform or assist with cesarean sections, vacuum/forceps deliveries, circumcisions, and intrauterine monitoring**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This LDRP unit offers an exceptional learning and growth environment supported by a collaborative team with decades of combined expertise.
