Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position Overview: As a Plant Engineering Manager provides strategic and operational leadership of the site engineering function (Automation, Process Engineering). This role drives world-class performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) through:Deployment of Excellence principles (Lean, CI, Zero Loss mindset).Development of high-performing technical teamsExecution of site strategy deployment and Cost-to-Win (CtW) initiatives in collaboration with Site Excellence ManagerCore Responsibilities:1. Strategy DeploymentLead engineering input into Strategy Deployment (SDD) and site master planCascade KPIs aligned to SQDC priorities across engineering teamsAlign engineering roadmap to Excellence roadmap and maturity expectationsEnsure integration of:Asset strategyAutomation & digital roadmapReliability and maintenance excellence2. Zero Loss & Continuous Improvement LeadershipChampion projects around Zero Loss mindset across engineering domains (safety, quality, downtime, cost)Lead elimination of losses through:Root cause problem-solvingKaizen and focused improvement initiativesOwn engineering contribution to Cost-to-Win (CtW) portfolioDeploy Lean tools:Standard workVisual management / Tier managementProblem-solving (7-step / A3)3. Collaborates with Assess Manager around Asset Care, Reliability & PerformancePartnering to establish and execute site-wide asset care strategyEnsure engineering resources to support:High equipment uptime and reliabilityEffective preventive and predictive maintenanceOptimal spare parts and lifecycle managementDrive engineering improvements that enhance:OEECapacity utilizationCost efficiencyQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related)7–10+ years of engineering/manufacturing experience3–5+ years leadership experience managing managers or technical teamsStrong knowledge of:Lean / Continuous ImprovementReliability / Asset Care systemsManufacturing processesPreferred:Six Sigma certificationExperience with BD Excellence or similar Lean operating systemAdditional Information: Compensation: Based on Experience. One of the best in the industry. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
