R.N. Surgery - Per Diem - Days - 8hr FPH

Job Summary The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. As a clinical practitioner, the RN coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units, ensuring quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit's standard of care. The Operating Room Staff RN is responsible for the supervision and delivery of perioperative care to patients from pediatric through the life span using the nursing process. Responsibilities Coordinate and implement patient care for assigned units. Ensure quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards. Implement the nursing process for perioperative care from pediatric to adult patients. Determine biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self‑care, and educational needs of patient/family/significant other to develop, implement, and revise the plan of care. Minimum Experience Requirements Newly graduated nurses. Re‑entry nurses. Nurses new to the U.S. healthcare system who satisfactorily complete the Emanate Health R.N. New Grad Program. One year of operating room experience is preferred. Excellent customer service skills required. Minimum License Requirements Current RN license in the State of California. BLS certification. ACLS certification within 3 months of hire. Annual 1 hour of Stroke Education required for those working at QVH. Salary $65.52 - $65.52 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Emanate Health
