Senior Data Engineer


The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for developing and executing data migration and ETL workflows to support new store implementations. This role ensures data accuracy, optimizes database performance, troubleshoots complex data issues, and contributes to the creation of internal analytics and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and onboard new clients by cleaning, validating, and importing data from diverse sources.
• Design, run, and verify DML, DDL, and DCL scripts to support internal and client-driven requirements.
• Manage scheduled and ad-hoc database activities, including imports, updates, and maintenance - occasionally outside standard business hours.
• Partner with customer success and engineering teams to analyze datasets and diagnose application-related data concerns.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and strong T-SQL development skills.
• Demonstrated ability to balance technical and business priorities when making decisions.
• Proven track record of handling multiple concurrent projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years designing or maintaining ETL pipelines and data integration workflows.
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL .
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
• Experience developing in C# and/or Python .
