You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting relevant details to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity using required reporting tools.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
