Temporary Clinical/Counseling Faculty Pool Location: San Diego, CA Open Date: Dec 06, 2023 Description The San Diego State University Counseling and Psychological Services maintains an open pool of applications for temporary clinical/counseling faculty positions and reviews this pool on an as‑needed basis to identify qualified applicants for available clinical/counseling work. Temporary appointments may be full or part‑time and are typically for one semester or one academic year, renewable based on evaluations and work availability. Areas of Expertise Clinical or Counseling Psychology Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Social Work Professional Clinical Counseling Qualifications Terminal graduate degree in clinical/counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, or professional clinical counseling. Licensed to practice as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. License‑eligible (all SPE hours completed) to practice with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology. Clinical experience working with college students or young adults. Demonstrated currency in subject matter.
