Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855, United States

Start Date: 08/05/2026 (orientation), ongoing from 08/06/2026

Duration: Ongoing, 10-14 days per month

Shift: 24-hour shifts (6am-6pm in-facility, on-call 6pm-6am)

Hours/Week: Variable, depending on schedule

Employment Type: Per Diem / Contract

Certifications: NRP Certified, Board Eligible/Certified in Neonatology preferred

Experience: Prior neonatal intensive care experience required

What You'll Do

• Provide neonatal intensive care to infants within a Level III NICU setting
• Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
• Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Stabilize and prepare surgical cases for transfer
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including registered nurses and respiratory therapists
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and neonatal care standards

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan
• NRP certification
• Experience in NICU or neonatal intensive care settings
• Skills in advanced neonatal procedures

Preferred:

• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology
• Experience with ventilator management and neonatal emergencies
